Feng Shui Decorating

Having good energy and flow is the goal for decorating with Feng Shui principles. Knowing where to put decor and art in your home to increase prosperity, love and relationships, and creativity is essential to your success, happiness, and inspiration. Knowing how to place furniture to increase health, family relations, and supportive people in your life brings about good feelings, stability, and decreased stress. How you set up your home also influences how you will do in business, and your career.

Feng Shui helps you experience an improved sense of well being; it makes you feel richer in life, love, relationships, career, health, friendships, and family relationships. You can become more creative, more productive, and even more recognized for the person you really are.
Feng Shui brings prosperity by bringing clarity to the areas of your home and office that drive ingenuity and talent.
Feng Shui can help you develop stronger relationships with your family, your coworkers, and your friends, allowing you to connect to a larger and deeper support system.
Feng Shui For Business

Feng Shui for business and home work spaces is important for the health, wealth, and fame and recognition of your life and your company, business and career. For businesses in particular it may sound like hocus pocus, but the most successful business owners in the world use Feng Shui principles in how they organize and set up their businesses.

Feng Shui for your corporate and residential offices is very important for the growth of your company.  Having the office and furniture aligned with feng shui principles is key to greater success in your business.  Where the C-level employees sit tells you a lot about where they see themselves in the business.  The best place in the office for C-level and management employees is in accordance with their values and goals. If growing revenue is the goal the best placement for the CFO is in the Prosperity Area.  If the goal is growing relationships with the community then the best placement is Love and Relationships.  Different disciplines in a company are placed in the best possible position to increase the company's functions.

The direction the furniture is important for good energy and flow. The placement of furniture will create good or bad energy.  Clutter is always bad feng shui.

Organization of supplies, piles of papers, poorly designed furniture, broken items and art that symbolizes negative aspects are cleared to enhance the company's health, wealth, relationships, employee harmony, customer satisfaction, skills and knowledge, community support, and fame and recognition.
Feng Shui Tips

According to Feng Shui principles for businesses the owner and upper management want to be in a power position. Each floor plan is divided equally into nine (9) separate areas. Each area represents an aspect of the business. You want to be positioned correctly in your space. It is important to understand each area of your space  in order to best utilize the energy of the space, and therefore enhancing your business. The nine (9) areas of your space are career, skills and knowledge, helping people and travel, health, family, creativity, fame and recognition, relationships and of course prosperity. Where are you sitting in your space? Find out more with a Feng Shui assessment of your small, medium or large business setting.

The placement of furniture and objects, and what kind of furniture and décor you put into your space, affects you and the inhabitants of that space. Understanding how furniture and décor affects your inner self, and psyche, is an important aspect of home and business harmony.

Your back should never, never face the door, yet you also do not want to be sitting in the path of the door.

When you walk into the office of the President of the United States he is directly facing you and the door.
When you are laying in bed, no part of the bed should be in the path of the door. If your feet are facing the door entrance this is the "death" position. The Chinese believe if the bottom of your feet are facing the door that is how you will be carried out, dead.

The reason you are not supposed to be in the path of a door, either sitting and or laying down is the energy is too strong on a constant basis.

Pointed ends of end tables or cabinets that you pass on a regular basis are called "Poison Arrows". Each time there is a point that is coming at you from a piece of furniture it is a force of negative energy coming at you.

Beams are heavy above your head and they have energy that comes down to affect you regularly. They say if a beam divides your matrimony bed often it results in divorce. Nine times out of ten when I see a home where the beam above went down the middle of the master bedroom bed, the realtor tells me it was a divorce.

If you sit under beams on your couch regularly wherever the beam's energy pierces down on you, it may result in having problems with that part of your body. So for instance if the beam hits my knees, I may start having knee problems.

There are fixes in Feng Shui for many of the Feng Shui Faux Pas situations. Don't fear there are feng shui fixes for most situations.

 The History of Feng Shui

Feng Shui decor comes from ancient chinese methods of placing objects and furniture in your home in order to improve aspects of your life, such as wealth, fame, recognition, love & relationships, family harmony, good health, creativity, skills, and knowledge. In chines culture, this brings more people into your life to help and support you. Many people believe Feng Shui is capable of unlocking and eliminating disorganization, symptoms of Attention Deficit Disorder (ADD), depression, anxiety, loveless relationships, lack of money, poor health, cluttering patterns, unhealthy family relationships, symptoms of insomnia, and challenges with creativity.
Feng Shui concentrates on the land around and below your building, how the building is constructed, the birth time of your dwelling, the direction it faces, and spacial placement of the items within the building. If everything is done in accordance with "the wind and the water", the harmony and energy of the site, and the balance within the building, then and only then can you bring, and keep, "good chi" or "good energy". Elements placed in the building are symbols of water, wood, fire, metal, or water. Feng Shui uses the back of a turtle to represent the separate areas of a dwelling which parallel the squares on a turtle shell. The floor plan should be divided into separate squares by which each square, or "bagua", symbolizes either career, skills & knowledge, helping people, family, health, children & creativity, prosperity, fame & recognition, or love & relationships. The placement of these elements is traditionally based off of the direction the building faces (N,S,E,W) and the way the construction site lies (flat, hills, mountainous terrain, near water, etc.).
